Find Matrix Games on GitHub

What do you wanna do?

This is the easiest way to start with Matrix Games because you can create or just play Matrix Games without a devolopment environment. For this we offer you a package with the windows binaries and the games, which are available as source code and are dynamically loaded by a game console. This allows you to customize existing games or create new ones.
Download and unpack the package and you are good to go.

So you want to support the community and want to participate in the MatrixGames project, great. Here is what you need:

  1. Go to and create an account. If you already have a GitHub account, you can go right to the next step.

When you sign up, you will be asked for your personal plan. You can choose Free, because MatrixGames is a public project and a free account is all you need to join.

  2. Now you need the MatrixGames repository:

Because you can not make any changes to the repository, you have to either create a new branch ...

... or you fork the repository to your account.

If you create a new branch, it will be listed on the MatrixGamesHub/MatrixGames repository. If you fork the branch, you get a new repository in your own account.

Now clone the branch or the repository.
Once you have a stable version of your changes, you can do a pull request, to get your code to the master branch.

  3. The last thing you need, is the package with the binaries to run the games. It is a portable package, so just download and unpack.

The first time you run the GameConsole, you will be asked to select the games directory. Select the Games directory from the branch you cloned in the last step.
Great that you want to support us and want to participate in the MatrixGames project.
